Wednesday 21 August, 7pm: Paint It Up Mondays!

Fancy learning to paint?

We've partnered with Paint It Up to bring painting classes to the club! Over the course of two hours you'll be guided through creating your own masterpiece. For this first event you'll be painting the "Blue Nude" (pictured), but you'll be encouraged to make it as unique as you like.

Everything is provided - just bring your friends and a willingness to have a bit of fun and meet new people! Grab a glass of wine from Potter's Bar and let the creative juices flow.

Sunday 27 August, 11am: Mayweather VS McGregor

Come and watch the match with us! Although we'll be showing it all over the club, the best place to watch will be the Sports Bar
downstairs or Distillery upstairs.

Come in early to get a good seat!

The two biggest stars from the world of boxing and MMA, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor will enter the ring on August 27th to
go head-to-head in one of the most hotly anticipated boxing bouts of all time.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be looking to cement his position as the greatest pound-for-pound boxer in history as he comes out of retirement
to take on UFC's most recognised talent and reigning UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor. Despite being out of the ring since 2015,
Mayweather's reputation remains untouched, boasting an incredible 49-0 professional boxing record. McGregor, known as one of the most
dangerous strikers in MMA, will utilise his fierce and competitive nature in an effort to overcome the undefeated boxing legend.

Saturday 2 September: Stars Behind the Bar with Spud Carroll

Every Saturday in September we've got familiar faces in the Sports Bar serving up good beers and good banter... and who better to kick things

off than the man himself, Mark 'Spud' Carroll!

Come on down to the Sports Bar from 6pm, get yourself a beer and have a chat with this legend of rugby league.

Monday 9 October: Bus Trips with Heather

This month's bus trip is to the Newington Armory. Board the Heritage Train, and learn how the armaments were stored, transported and
protected at what was formerly known as the Royal Australian Navy Armament Depot. The Heritage Discovery Tour takes you through an
amazing collection of armaments, in what is still a restricted access building. The tour concludes with a torch-lit walk through the lantern
passageways of the original gun powder magazine. The train tour takes 90 minutes and covers approximately 5km with full commentary.
The morning's activities include morning tea.

Just before lunch the group will enjoy a drive through Sydney Olympic Park, exploring the 430 hectares. From protected urban wetlands and
woodlands, hilltop panoramas and riverside vistas, through to active town centre parks, you'll be amazed at the choice and quality of our
many green spaces. Our picnic lunch of roast chicken, salads, breads, desserts, juice and wine will be served in the Bicentennial Park afterwards.

After lunch the tour continues on to the Auburn Botanic Gardens. There are twelve distinct areas with something for everyone, inlcuding the
Japanese Hill, the Sunken Rose Garden, and the Australian Native Garden.

- The bus will depart the club at 9am and arrive back at approximately 5pm.
- There isn't a huge amount of walking but please feel free to call Heather Criss on 9997 3833 if you have any concerns.
- Tickets include morning tea, two-course lunch and full guided tour

$83 members | $88 non-members

Heather's tours always sell out fast - call 9997 3833 to book!

Tuesday 10 October: Pink Bowls Day

Our wonderful bowlers are putting on a PINK day on the greens to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. Last year we raised nearly $20,000
for pink ribbon and we hope to be able to do the same again this year. We're still planning this fabulous event so if you are a local business who would like to contribute (catering is especially appreciated - think PINK!) then we would love to hear from you. Please call Kristy on 9997 3833 to chat about
how you can get involved.

Saturday 14 October: Fleetwood Mac show

We are so excited to welcome "Running in the Shadows", Australia's best Fleetwood Mac Tribute show. This is a group of Australia's top musicians
coming together to recreate one of the greatest live bands of all time.

Tickets are $25, with $5 from every ticket given directly to the McGrath Foundation, supporting the fight against breast cancer. This show is part of our Pink October promotion, so feel free to get dressed up in pink and show your support for women's health. There will be spot prizes for best-dressed as well as fabulous pink drink specials. We can't wait to see you there!

Tuesday 7 November: Melbourne Cup

We are transforming Glasshouse and Distillery for a magical day of glamour at the races! Start with an exclusive pre-race party in Distillery with
live music, drinks and canapes on arrival. We'll move into Glasshouse for a four-course set menu followed by tea, coffee and petit fours. Then the choice is yours - to stay at your table in glasshouse with a bottle of bubbles and watch the race, or move back into Distillery to see it on the big screen. Following the race the band will kick off a post-race party in Distillery and the afternoon is yours!
