Friday the 8 th of August 2008 was a big night at the Club with the Member's 50 th Birthday Draw taking place. Huge prizes were up for grabs as the Club celebrated its 50 th Birthday with a suitably large cake and six enormous candles! Six lucky members went home that night with $500 to $5000 of their own to celebrate with.
Summer is just around the corner and our "Life's a Beach" promotion could win you a summer dream holiday! 5 hot destinations are on offer - Hawaii , the Gold Coast, the Whitsundays, Byron Bay and Terrigal. Just place your entry into the barrel of your choice under the surfboards at Front Reception and be here on Saturday 1 st November for the draw.
Did you know Murray the Butcher is now at Pittwater ? Murray Hillier, formerly of " Murray 's" in Bungan Court , is our new inhouse butcher and he will be offering monthly "members' specials" to help your grocery dollar go further. Follow the link to check out this month's specials.
Ladies! This Saturday, August 23 rd , is the big night when our "7 Deadly Sins" winner will be drawn. It could be you heading off to Melbourne for the weekend with a friend, all accommodation and airfares paid for and $1000 in spending money to freshen up your wardrobe. Be here on the night to win!
Our September big show in the Auditorium is "Jelly Bean Jam", MO Award Nominees 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2007 - 2006 ACE Award Winners for Best Dance Band at the ACE Awards. This big band is out to get you on the dance floor so book early and shine up your dancing shoes for Saturday 27 th September. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets only $10 for members & $15 for non-members.
We have two Charity events coming up in the next few months, both of which are fundraisers on behalf of Daniel Clarke, a courageous boy who suffers from Cerebral Palsy but aspires to attend High School in 2009. The Pittwater RSL Staff Charity and Northern Metropolitan Clubs in the Community are both hosting events under the banner of "Help Us 2 Help Daniel".
The first date for your diary is Tuesday 30 th September 2008, when the Northern Metropolitan "Charity Golf Day" will be held at Mona Vale Golf Club. Please follow the link to download the flyer with your entry form.
